A new approach to working unveiled in Tunbridge Wells

Concern as office space lost to residential developments
Flexible office space at M-Space in Tunbridge Wells

The idea is to provide quality, low cost professional workspaces, aimed primarily at three Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) looking to reduce overheads, local start-ups and homeworkers.

“Covid-19 has changed the way we work and do business,” said Sheree Dawson, Head of Properties at M Space the company behind the initiative at Longford House on Mount Ephraim Road.

“Because of lockdown people now recognise, for example, that you don’t have to waste hours a week commuting to expensive office space for a business to be effective.

“And it’s the same with start-ups and homeworkers. They know they can make it all happen but also realise they can benefit from office space with full supporting services and potential clients on their doorstep.

“These offices are not on an industrial estate, they’re within easy walking distance of a ma station to London with a prestigious address, and space can be rented on highly flexible terms with just-one-month notice required to exit.”

She added that M Space provides ready-to-go, state-of-the-art work stations for anything from 1 to 20+ people at £249+VAT a month.

Smaller businesses can also enjoy additional support services including accountancy and bookkeeping, telephone answering/messaging service and secretarial support, allowing tenants to spend more time growing their businesses.

The offices, all fully furnished with high speed broadband, modern telephone system, 24/7 access and security, and parking close by, are available from August 1, with a show suite launching on July 1.
