AV Trinity, the Tunbridge Wells based independent financial advisors, is celebrating its success in being ranked in the top 100 financial advice firms in the UK for the fourth year in a row.
The company, which has been based in the town for 25 years, came 23rd and was praised by CityWire magazine, the publication which compiled the list, for its ‘high number of female advisors’, which ‘gave it an edge.’
There are nine chartered advisors working for the company, five of which are female, a situation which the head of business development Richard Randall, described as rather ‘unusual’ for their type of company.
He said: “It was not by design it ended up this way but we are delighted to have such a strong female presence.”
He said both female and male staff were equally matched in their professionalism and knowledge, but having more women has been beneficial, he added: “they are not ‘better’, but they bring a different approach and can be more empathetic.”
The company, which has £370 million of clients’ money under management, has been going through a phase of expansion recently by opening up a new office in London Bridge and taking on three new non-executive directors.
And Mr Randall believes securing the latest CityWire accolade shows the company is on the right track. He said: “We are really proud of it and it is a confirmation the company has been doing the right thing by its clients.”
