TAXI firm Castle Cars has won two prestigious prizes in the only national awards for the private hire and chauffeur industry.
The Tonbridge-based company – which has seen 50 per cent growth in each of the past two years -won Silver in both the Private Hire Company of the Year and Community Award categories of the 2016 Professional Driver QSi Awards on November 24.
Prizes were handed out by TV motorsports presenter and racing driver Amanda Stretton at the ceremony which was held at the Effingham Park Hotel, near Gatwick Airport, and organised by the monthly publication Professional Driver magazine.
The magazine’s editor Mark Bursa praised the ‘friendly local firm’, stating the judges were impressed by its ‘high standards of customer care, particularly for vulnerable passengers’.
