One Warwick Park at the bottom of the High Street was forced to shut like most other hotels across the UK when lockdown was introduced on March 23.
But now, after ‘months of hard work’ to ensure the hotel is Covid safe, guests began checking in again yesterday [Tuesday, September 1].
The hotel, which has been accredited with Visit Britain’s ‘We’re good to go’ Covid safety accreditation, has introduced a number of measures including deep cleaning of all its 39 bedrooms and sympathetic partitioning of its popular restaurant,The Bistro.
New operations manager, Martin Garner, who has more than 25 years of hospitality experience told the Times: “Following months of hard work and preparation, we are pleased to open our doors again to welcome our regular guests and new customers.”
He continued: “To celebrate we are offering all the guests a complimentary cocktail to toast the reopening of One Warwick Park. We look forward to welcoming you.”
