Mobile technology firm Crimson Tide doubled its pre-tax profits to £122,000 in the first half of the year.
The Tunbridge Wells-based firm behind the logistics software mpro5, recorded a 25 per cent increase in like-for-like sales to £845,000 as it announced it had gained a record 15,000 subscribers to its platform.
The AIM-listed company, which helps staff capture data in the field, increased earnings before interest, taxes and other charges to £281,000 in the first six months of the year, up 41 per cent.
The good news follows a doubling of the firm’s full-year profits in April on the back of contracts with Metro, to distribute its newspapers, and Brennans Bread, to deliver its products across Ireland.
