Baby goods retailer Mothercare looks set to be the latest big name brand to leave Royal Victoria Place.
Tunbridge Wells shoppers have spotted a sign reading ‘store closure sale, everything must go,’ outside the unit, which is near to the centre’s Sports Direct store.
Mothercare has not disclosed when the closure will be or how many jobs could be affected.
The retailer has recently reported a 2.8 per cent fall in like-for-like sales over the past 12 weeks, as their online sales rose 2.1 per cent.
Royal Victoria Place has recently seen an exodus of leading firms, including H&M, who closed their kids-wear store in January.
The BHS shop also remains empty, with the company having gone bust in 2016.
The Tunbridge Wells Mothercare shop told the Times that they wished to make no comment.
The Times has also contacted Mothercare’s head office but no response has been received.
