TWO young entrepreneurs marked the launch of their new firm last month with a celebration at Tonbridge’s Old Fire Station and a visit to their offices by Conservative candidate Tom Tugendhat.
Clarke Williams Ltd will join the High Street as specialist insurance broker aimed at providing risk management and tailored insurance solutions to businesses and private individuals in the local area.
Founded former Belmont colleagues by Henry Clarke, 29, and Scott Williams, 30, the pair are supported by three other consultant Directors, leading to a combined experience in the field of insurance of over 100 years.
Explaining why the pair decided to go it alone and take the risk of setting up their own business, Mr Clarke said: “The firm was founded on the basis that we believed clients were not being given the level of service they deserved and that the personal touch has been lost for most brokers.”
“People buy from people. Insurance is a relationship based business, and unfortunately there are too many business out there that don’t even know the name of their insurance advisor. We want to change that, so that our clients know who to contact when they need us most,” his business partner Mr Williams adds.
The pair cater for ‘all types of insurance’ but specialise in property and high value home, motor, construction, recruitment and surveyors.
