Thomson Snell & Passmore, a Tunbridge Wells-based law firm, found 94 per cent of people in the companies surveyed have no regrets over voting either remain or leave.
The 140 businesses, across a range of sectors, were asked their views against a background of political uncertainty.
Thrive
The survey results also show that 58 per cent were confident the UK would ‘thrive’ after leaving the European Union.
Joanne Gallagher, of Thomson Snell & Passmore, said: “Although there is still uncertainty, our Brexit Barometer clearly shows that businesses recognise there are opportunities.
“It suggests greater confidence from the SME marketplace about Britain’s future than some politicians suggest.
“It will be interesting to see how this confidence develops over the next few months.”
