A wedding and portrait photographer who has opened a studio in The Pantiles is hoping to click with customers by offering free portraits and wedding discounts.
Dee Airey Photography opened on August 1, and plans its official launch weekend on September 17-18, when it will give a discount of up to 15 per cent to any engaged couple who books a wedding photography package before the end of September.
Any visitors over the launch weekend will be offered a free mini-shoot in September and the possibility of winning a free full portrait session, or a £100 credit for the studio.
Owner Dee Airey already coaches photography students across the world, but said the shop gave her a space to expand this locally.
“We’ve converted the basement into a fabulous space where I can run photography classes for professionals and those wanting to take their hobby to the next level.”
Her specialisation is natural, un-posed, relaxed images. “I’m camera shy myself, so I understand how much of a challenge a lot of people find it to ‘switch on’ for the camera,” she said.
