A leading Tunbridge Wells IT firm is to host a free business seminar on November 26 with the aim of providing a ‘no-nonsense, straight talking’ guide on using the latest technology.
Founded in 1991, the team at First Office Systems has a collective 250 years’ experience between them and boasts ties with more than 1,000 businesses from Tunbridge Wells and further afield.
Guest presenters from ‘some of the world’s leading technology companies’ will be attending the event.
The talks will focus on helping businesses understand advantages and disadvantages of using cloud and managed services, the pitfalls of moving parts of their business to the cloud and how to harness technologies.
Sales director Nick Brandon said: “We have dealt with local businesses every day for 25 years and there is a real lack of understanding about where technology is going and how it can be used properly.
“With so much choice available to businesses in terms of what systems they use and so much debate and information in the world and in the media, it becomes a situation of sticking one’s head in the sand.
“The aim of this event is to inform and give some perspective to the world of office and business technology, without being product-led.”
