The black-tie event was held in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association
More than £4,000 was raised on Saturday at the Wealden Business Group’s black-tie dinner and charity auction. Held at The Little Silver Country Hotel in Tenterden, the event included a fizz reception, auction of promises and disco in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
The dinner marked the culmination of two years of fundraising for the MNDA by the group, adding to in excess of £6,000 collected through a series of events and weekly collections.
Wealden Business Group is the local organisation for small and medium companies, meeting every Wednesday for networking breakfasts, while the MNDA funds and promotes global research into motor neurone disease (MND), providing support to people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
