Why local businesses want to be in theknow

They key to the success of any new media, be it print or online, is the support of the business community. We hear from four local businesses who have signed up to be our launch partners

As a resident of Tunbridge Wells, I was absolutely delighted when the Times ran their first edition. Like everyone else I have a busy life, but I like to know what is happening in the local community.
The paper brought me all the relevant information in a good quality format and immediately filled a knowledge gap in keeping up-to-date with events in Tunbridge Wells.
It also offered an important platform for my business to showcase its talent, which is why, for the first time, we decided to get into print advertising.
When we heard that the Times was going to launch a digital platform, I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of it because an online platform will fill the void that the newspaper could not reach.
It will greatly assist in our marketing campaigns because, unlike the newspaper, we will obtain instant feedback on the numbers and demographics of the visitors landing on the site, which will assist us in focusing on our target audience.
Like the newspaper, I believe theknow website is in the right place at the right time because, more than ever, people use their computers, phones and tablets to search online not only for local news and events but for plumbers, cars, houses and solicitors.

We have been working with SO TW for many years and we are confident that we will increase our interaction with our patient database, whilst it will also enable us to provide more interesting and informative information for those looking for the services we provide within the Dermatology, Aesthetic Medicine and Travel Clinic fields.
Our clients come from all walks of life with a multitude of issues, not just from Kent and Sussex but nationwide, and even sometimes from international locations.
We have one of the largest and most well equipped medical laser clinics in the world and we need to let local people know about it.
We have many projects in place for this year, which is why we have chosen to partner with theknow.
