Two young entrepreneurs from Tunbridge Wells have made it into the finals for the Kent Region in a competition run by Young Start-up Talent.

Serena Christie and Ben Jeffries are among five finalists who hope to win a prize fund of £50,000 worth of products and services to help launch their businesses in a ‘Dragons’ Den’-style knockout on July 21 in Maidstone.

Both met with Lorraine Nugent, one of the founding partners and directors of Young Start-up Talent, to receive feedback on their business plans at Trinity Theatre on July 1.

Over 60,000 youngsters aged 16-25 across the south east have benefited from the advice workshops and the prize money is made up from the contributions of 140 different businesses from across the UK.
