A taste of Tonbridge 2016

Sevenoaks and Tonbridge Concert Band

Welcome to the first ever Tonbridge Food and Drink Festival.

Presented by Tonbridge Town Team, this new FREE three-day event is being held in the grounds of the magnificent Tonbridge Castle from Friday May 20 to Sunday May 22.

Tonbridge has put itself well and truly on the food map in recent years through its existing restaurants and the opening of a host of new cafes and diners. Plus, it now boasts the largest farmers’ market in Kent, proving that there is a passion for good food and drink.

Our new Festival aims to build on this and make our town a ‘go to’ place for great local and international cuisine in this part of the Garden of England.

The Festival gets underway on Friday evening when there will be street food and entertainment on offer. The following day, Tonbridge Mayor Mark Rhodes will officially open the event.

Visitors can then spend another two days (Saturday and Sunday) circulating around the stalls where they will find food and drink to suit every taste, as well as cooking demonstrations by West Kent College and more entertainment on the specially built stage.

With so much local, regional, national and international food and drink to tempt the taste buds, this FREE event will have something for everybody. You can find a list of what’s on offer below.

So make sure you drop by and sample a fantastic Taste of Tonbridge.
