The latest instalment in the ten-event Kent Grand Prix series saw two excellent team performances, which put the Harriers in contention for both the men’s and women’s titles with three events to go.
Billy Hobbs ran a fantastic time of 38min 14sec to finish first in a field of just under 400, with Will Levett (39.27) and Dan Watt (42.41) also finishing in the top 10.
They were closely followed by Andy Howey (44.16), Kieran Fitzpatrick (44.35), Keith Mitchell (45.19) and Ed Steele (45.38), all in the top 30.
Cathy Gill led home another fine team display in the women’s competition with a time of 51.22 for sixth place.
Jillian Holford (52.54), Nicola Morris (53.54), Hayley Larkin (54.34), Gemma Stilliard (54.47) and Sarah Ferns (54.48) all finished in the top 20.
