We went to…
Fine Grind on Tunbridge Wells High Street. This popular coffee shop has been hotly demanded since we began the Coffee of the Week feature on theknow.
We had…
Once again, we didn’t go it alone, with two of us on a mission to enjoy the caffeinated delights of Tunbridge Wells
We thought…
The look
Although all americano coffees tend to look the same, Fine Grind’s offering looked more rich than most. We also ordered a mocha, and the coffee art that adorned it was almost worthy of a gallery! To be honest, it’s worth ordering again to admire.
The taste
All of Fine Grind’s coffee beans are roasted at the nearby family business Horsham Coffee Roaster, and flavour is unique as a result. The americano was rich and had an enjoyable and subtle herbal undertone to its character. The mocha was rich too, and also smooth and chocolatey – what more could you ask for?
The price
At £2.40, the medium americano was similarly priced to other outlets in Tunbridge Wells. The mocha (we ordered a large) was slightly pricier, at £3.60, but its intricate presentation and substantial volume meant it was easily worth the spend.
