The 11-year-old from Paddock Wood beat Brandon Nguyen, 16, of Welling Snooker Club 5-0 in the best-of-nine-frame final.
Twice in the match Brandon sportingly called out a foul shot after making contact with another ball on the table.
Brandon’s mother Jo, who co-owns the Welling club, said: “Dylan played very well and we can see he has made great improvement since we saw him last time. He will win many more competitions.”
When Dylan won the Kent Under-16s Summers Cup at Welling in April it was his first tournament victory. Now he has ended his former practice partner Ben Sizer’s run of six titles in a row.
He will now take part on the National Amateur circuit with English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards tournaments at Under-14 and Under-16 level later this month. Dylan also reached the final of the adult singles competition at the Victoria Snooker Centre Summer League in Tunbridge Wells in August.
And this Friday [October 18] the young tyro takes on the 1980 World Champion Cliff Thorburn, at Greenhithe and Swans-combe Royal British Legion Social Club.
