TONBRIDGE ANGELS produced arguably their best display of the season, comfortably dispatching Burgess Hill Town despite the slender scoreline.
The only goal of the game came via striker Alex Akrofi midway through the second half but in truth it was one-way traffic from start to finish.

Nathan Elder had the best chance of the first 45 minutes after a frantic goalmouth scramble but keeper James Shaw thwarted his effort.
Joe Turner looked dangerous and Tom Beere had two early efforts but Angels would have been dismayed to go in at the break still goalless.
The deadlock was finally broken 71st minute, when Alex Akrofi shrugged off former Angel Gary Elphick before outpacing the centre-half and slotting the ball into the net.
The striker, who also scored in the 2-2 draw at Thurrock in the previous league game, had been causing the Hillians problems all afternoon with his well-timed runs.
Chances continued to fall for the Angels as Burgess Hill gambled in search of an equaliser, which played into the hands of Beere and Akrofi.
Turner drilled a shot wide and substitute Dan Thompson’s effort was blocked as the visitors saw out the game comfortably.
The victory saw the Angels rise four places in the table to 12th. On Saturday (September 30) Angels travel to Kingstonian (kick-off 3pm).
