Family heirloom is carried from generation to the next. We believe that every piece of jewellery tells a story. Many people have old pieces tucked away at home – pieces they do not wear or that are very dated. The jewellery may have been inherited, be of great sentimental value, be broken or have missing elements. It could be an old engagement ring from your mum or nan, a brooch from a relative or a birthday present that was never a favourite of yours. Remodelling old jewellery is a wonderful opportunity to recycle your metals, diamonds, and gemstones into a new and unique piece of contemporary jewellery that you can wear and enjoy for years to come.
We compiled five simple steps of our jewellery remodelling service.
Step 1 – Examining your old jewellery
We take a closer look at your jewellery. We will inspect the quality of the metal, measure your gemstones.
Step 2 – Design Consultation
We will work with you in the design with consideration on the components of the jewellery we assessed in step one. We will walk you through the process of remodelling and discuss timeframe.
Step 3 – Sketch
If ideas are clear on the day we meet and a decision is agreed, a sketch of your new piece will be produced during the consultation.
Step 4 – Quotation
With consideration to you budget, we will work with you to identify raw materials that will fit within your price range as well as advise the quality and durability of each option.
Step 5- Handcrafted just for you
Your design is now in the hands of our talented goldsmith and diamond setter.
Here is a testimonial from one of customers who entrusted us with a diamond ring from her nan which we turned into a beautiful necklace for her wedding day.
Let us help you ease the worry of keeping a family heirloom and make it a celebration of the memory they left.
