Simon Beamish, the Under-6s head coach, said: “We ensure children are able to develop their foundation rugby skills of ball handling, catching and passing in a friendly, enjoyable and safe environment.
“We are a community-based club that relies on the support of dedicated volunteers, and their hard work has paid off with over 100 players registered across the Reception and Year 1 age groups.”
Among the comments received from parents, one said: “I think the Under-6s are brilliant, the coaches have all been so fantastic and my son absolutely loves it. On Sunday after training finished he said to me ‘I wish I could do all that all over again!’”
Another commented: “I had a few ideas of what TWRFC would do and so far the first few sessions have far surpassed even those lofty ideas. My son gets excited to come each week and is full of smiles once he gets back.”
