On track for another successful CAMRA real ale and cider festival

What the garden looked like before

The Spa Valley Railway again hosts the eighth event from Friday [October 19] until Sunday.
Visitors can enjoy the ale, green hop beers and ciders on offer inside the engine shed of the Tunbridge Wells West railway station.

A unique aspect of the event is that Eridge and Groombridge stations along the historic railway line host special connected events.

There will also be a choice of food stalls and live music on offer as part of the festival, which is Spa Valley’s biggest annual fundraiser.

To enter the festival, you can purchase a starter pack for £10, which includes a souvenir glass, along with £7 worth of tokens to purchase beers.

Tickets to travel can be bought online and at the stations for £20 per adult and £10 per child for unlimited all-day travel. Festival goers can enjoy more beer and cider on the trains and at each station, which additionally call at High Rocks.

The event will take place on Friday and Saturday from 11am to 11pm and on Sunday from 11am to 6pm.

It is all run by volunteers, in aid of raising funds for the railway, which operates as a charity.
