TONBRIDGE JUDDIANS will be holding their annual Winter Beer Festival next month [Friday and Saturday, February 9-10] in the clubhouse at The Slade. The selection will feature 24 cask ales along with six ciders and perrys.
For the first time this year the club is offering local businesses, groups and individuals a chance to sponsor a barrel for £100.
This branding can consist of an advertisement or announcement – even a marriage proposal.
The event kicks off on Friday [February 9] from 5-11pm and continues on Saturday [February 10] from 11am-11pm. All beers and ciders are £3.60 per pint (purchased with tokens) and a £2 souvenir glass has been commissioned for the festival.
The Six Nations rugby will be shown on the big screen on Saturday, featuring Ireland v Italy at 2:15pm and England vs Wales at 4.45pm.
The sponsored barrels will display names and logos, and there will be four starter packs, including a festival glass and two and a half pints for guests to try your chosen beer.
The beer and cider list can feature a message which will also be played on the clubhouse TV screen, and there will be acknowledgements on the TJs website and social media pages.
