The Tunbridge Wells roads that are among the most expensive in Kent

The list, compiled by house price valuation specialists Mouseprice – part of the PropertyHeads group – found homes in Calverley Park had an average sales price of £3.3million between 2010 and 2020.

Orpington’s Beech Dell, where homes fetched an average of £3.5million, is Kent’s most expensive street, while Parkfield in Sevenoaks, where houses fetched £3.4million, was the county’s second most expensive road.

Mousprice say the list reflects average sold prices across the whole decade, going further than the yearly insight provided by the likes of Lloyds Bank and Zoopla.

Houses in Kent sold for an average of £355,000 between 2010 and 2020, with Sevenoaks dominating the list of the county’s priciest locations with ten of the 25 most expensive roads located in the district.

Also making the list was Broom Lane in Tunbridge Wells where the average house fetched £2.1million.

Founder and CEO of PropertyHeads, Ben Davis, said: “Kent’s residents won’t be surprised to see roads in Sevenoaks taking the lion’s share of the list, but our research has revealed just how concentrated the county’s prime property is.

“Kent, like many locations up and down the country, benefited from another crazy decade in the property market and one which will be remembered for its extremely high house prices.”
