First female for the club was European duathlete hopeful Amy Pay. Having started in unfamiliar territory in the pool, she quickly reeled in her competitors on her specialist disciplines to finish eighth overall and fourth in F30.

After a strong swim, Emily Twigg finished less then two seconds behind, claiming fifth in F30 and knocking over 11 minutes off her previous best. Third placed female for the club was Sue Bonner, fifth in F50.

The race was won by Scott Wiseman of Ashford Tri Club in 1hr 22min, four minutes clear of second place. Catherine Linney of 7Oaks Tri Club was first female on home turf in a time of 1:39.
