The Under-13 squad won the Plate at the Kent RFU Waterfall finals at Old Colfeians in south-east London, despite having a depleted team due to injuries.
The girls put in strong performances to register wins against Aylesford and the Channel Baa Baas.
And this Sunday (February 9, kick-off 12.30pm) the Under-18 Ladies host the regional semi-final of the National Cup against Sudbury Under-18 at St Marks.
They beat Horsham, Medway and Aylesford en route to the semi-final and Paul Miles, their head coach, said: “We will need to dig deep on Sunday. But the girls are incredibly focused and training hard in preparation.”
Simon Parsons, Director of Ladies’ Rugby, said: “I think the Under-13s and Under-18s cup performance, the improved league placing of the Under-15s and our newly established Under-11s go to show that ladies’ rugby is flourishing here.
“We also want to develop a Senior Ladies squad, but right now all our focus is on preparing for the semi-final and it would be great to see local rugby supporters up at the club on Sunday to support the girls.”
