The Skinners’ Kent Academy achieved its first ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted this week. The school, seen above celebrating how far it had come in seven years, is now rated higher than some local grammars. The report commended the school’s high-quality curriculum, which ‘helps pupils grow into self-con? dent, inquiring and resilient learners’.
But Principal Matthew Tompkins insisted the school will not rest on its laurels, saying: “We will get even better in the years to come as we embark on the next stage of our exciting journey.”
