Hospices of Hope, which only opened on Mount Pleasant just before lockdown began, was targeted last Thursday [July 2].

Kent Police say over the past month windows have also been deliberately broken at stores in Tonbridge and near Sevenoaks. 

Shops were also targeted in Faversham and in areas outside of Kent, including Bexley and Pimlico in central London.

Now police have arrested a  43-year-old man from east London in the Waltham Forest area, on Wednesday night [July 8]. He currently remains in custody.

Hospices of Hope has reported tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage following the spate of attacks.
