CROSSWAYS Community is looking for committed and talented people to join its team in a variety of roles.

The Christian charity, based in Tunbridge Wells, provides residential care and support for adults with acute mental health issues.

It also delivers mental health training in local schools and for other community partners.

Crossways was named Supporting Services Charity of the Year at this years’ Kent Charity Awards.

It is opening a caf, The Kitchen Table, in Camden Road in the autumn, and is seeking paid staff to help create a welcoming place for those who may be struggling with poor mental health.

It is also looking to recruit trustees to help drive the organisation forward and for volunteers to help with activities such as furniture upcycling, gardening and supporting residents.

Julia Kirk, PA to Chief Executive Chris Munday, said: ‘Experience or knowledge of the mental health sector, whilst useful, is not essential. Full training will be given. We would encourage anyone with a heart for our work to apply.’

There will be a recruitment session on Tuesday, August 7, from 11am-1pm at Crossways’ Admin Building,
8 Culverden Park Road, Tunbridge Wells TN4 9QX.
