Legendary multi-platinum recording artist Bryan Adams is to perform at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury, home of Kent County Cricket Club, on Saturday 13th August as part of his European ‘Get Up’ Tour. The tour follows on from the huge success of the release of his latest album ‘Get Up’ at the end of last year.
As one of the world’s most highly acclaimed musicians, Bryan Adams has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide and ‘Get Up’ is his thirteenth studio album. Bryan rose to fame in North America with his 1983 album ‘Cuts Like a Knife‘ and turned into a global star with his 1984 album ‘Reckless‘ which produced some of his best known songs including “Run to You” and “Summer of ’69“.
Bryan Adams said “The ‘Get Up’ Tour is shaping up to be a fantastic summer for me with dates UK wide. We have seen such a great response from fans all over the UK that we wanted to reach as many places as possible, which is why I am delighted to now announce the Durham concert. We’ll be rocking the stage with songs from the new album, which I think are some of my finest yet, and of course there’ll be some of the old favourites, too.”
The ‘Get Up’ Tour will include a performance at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury on Saturday 13th August.
