Markerstudy Group is celebrating its fourth year of success at the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For Awards.
It beat off stiff competition to maintain its position in the top 100 as 29th ‘Best Company to Work For’ in Britain.
The accolade was presented at an awards ceremony in London.
Best Companies was established in 2001 to measure and acknowledge excellence in workplace engagement. A survey is sent to staff and the responses are collated and combined to produce an overall engagement score for each organisation.
Only the organisations with the highest level of overall employee engagement qualify for the awards.
Markerstudy’s Director of HR and Talent Development, Tanya Gerrard-White said: “We’ve always worked on the basis that if you nurture and motivate your staff, the finances will look after themselves and 15 years down the line from when we first began, we’re thriving.”
Markerstudy Group covers more than 80 brands including the hotel One Warwick Park, Salomons Estate, Bewl Water and this newspaper. With 540 local staff, it is the second largest employer in Tunbridge Wells.
