Cyber security defence is to be boosted at Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone hospitals.
MTW, the managing NHS trust, has responded after reports in the wider media that not one hospital body in the country was sufficiently prepared.
A spokesman said: ‘MTW takes cyber security very seriously.
‘We have implemented a number of robust measures to protect our organisation, in line with national NHS guidance.
‘The trust’s security is audited regularly and we have an ongoing plan to deliver new and updated processes to improve our cyber resilience.’
