THE Federation of Small Businesses is hosting a ‘Women in Business Brunch’ at The Beacon pub in Rusthall on September 26.
Self-employed women, entrepreneurs and small business owners are welcome to join the event, which starts at 10am and ends at noon.
Guest speaker Morag Welham, of Branchers LLP, will give a talk on ‘how and why to enter business awards’.
Ms Welham has more than 30 years’ experience in media, marketing and business development, and has organised the Kent Excellence in Business Awards [KEiBA], the Megagrowth 50 Awards and judged the Kent Invicta Chamber Business Awards.
She spent 20 years of her career in London working for leading UK business media company Centaur Media, where she was a publisher and Board Director.
Her role included managing a number of business award schemes for the marketing and
creative industries.
