There are always plenty of interesting markets and specialist fairs happening on the famous promenade in Tunbridge Wells. Here’s a round-up of what’s coming up over the next few months…
WEEKEND MARKETS
The usual Pantiles Market continues on the 1st and 3rd weekend of the month. Shoppers will be treated to an array of locally produced food and drink offerings and inspiring interior finds for the home.
JAZZ ON THE PANTILES
This hugely popular event has been running since the beginning of May and will continue every Thursday night until the end of the summer. So sit back, relax and listen to lots of great music while feasting on fabulous food.
ONE OF A KIND
The Vintage Fair rolls into town this weekend so if you love quirky, unique and antique items then this is the perfect place to spend a morning or afternoon browsing the gorgeous goods on display.
MAGIC MARATHON
Local magician Adam Smith will be hosting an amazing 48 hour session of performing culinary tricks on The Pantiles from Sunday August 7 until Tuesday August 9 in order to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. This huge feat for charity will kick off at midday on Sunday and run until
midday on Tuesday.
HEART AND SOUL
On Saturday August 13 the ever popular Soul Train steams into town. So if you’re a fan of feelgood, groovy tunes then make sure you’re boogying in the bandstand on The Pantiles from 7pm. On Saturday and Sunday August 27 and 28 there will also be the Soul Train Summer Party so put this funky annual event into your diary. See page 70 for more details.
