Friends and colleagues of a woman who died of cancer aged 37 have completed the Three Peaks Challenge in her memory.
Mark Cobb, of Paddock Wood-based IGF Invoice Finance, organised the feat in aid of the Ellenor hospice, where Shona Turnbull was cared for.
The group climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the three highest mountains in the UK, on September 19, raising £8,100.
An IGF spokesman said: “Shona’s friends and colleagues were aware of how vital the fantastic staff at the hospice were to Shona and her family, who described the superb care and attention provided throughout.
“As Shona’s health deteriorated, the hospice gave her every comfort and was a true support for her husband and two children.”
Mr Cobb was joined by Mat Smith, Ian Burman, Andrew Bowden-Brown and Tim Francis in the challenge, with Simon Adcock and Steve Leeves as drivers.
