A man has been charged with murder following an incident in Sherwood Road, Tunbridge Wells.
Kent Police were called at 10.42am yesterday [Tuesday, July 17] and confirmed 43-year-old Gordon Farnes sustained injuries and died.
Gordon Locke, aged 28 and of no fixed address, was arrested and an investigation was launched by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
The Crown Prosecution Service has now authorised a charge of murder.
Mr Locke remains in custody and is due to appear via virtual link before Medway Magistrates’ Court today [Wednesday, July 18].
