Hadlow Manor’s hundred look for the answers

The Mead School in Tunbridge Wells gave a professional level performance in the ISA drama contests

A QUIZ night involving 100 local people at Hadlow Manor on June 8 raised more than £1,000 on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the hotel’s chosen charity this year.

Following on from successful quizzes at their sister hotel in Reigate the staff at Hadlow saw the evening as an opportunity to engage with the local community as well as raising money for a worthy cause.

Giles Thomas, Group General Manager, said: ‘We really enjoy getting involved in the local community and hosting our quiz nights.

‘The Hadlow Suite came alive with 100 locals enjoying a curry and getting competitive over the questions, all whilst generously helping us raise a fantastic £1,095 for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

‘We also get a lot of support from local businesses who kindly donate raffle prizes,’ he added. ‘It’s a real community effort.’
