How you can find out more about Civic Complex proposal

Later this month sees the Borough Council taking to the road with a series of drop-in events aimed at getting its message across about the benefits of the planned £72million Civic Complex.

Members of the public in Cranbrook, Paddock Wood, Southborough and Tunbridge Wells will have the chance to see images and information on the proposed development and then question council members.

The opening event was held at the Calverley Grounds café last month and attracted 50 people.

Councillor Tracy Moore, portfolio holder for Civic Development Communications, said: “It was good to have this first event, of a series of events this autumn, to communicate the council’s ambitious plans for a new theatre and Civic Complex in Tunbridge Wells.

“The drop-in session was an opportunity for councillors and officers to listen to members of the public and to share ways they can learn more about the plans.”

The four meetings will be held at:

Cranbrook Farmers’ Market, Vestry Hall, on Saturday, October 28, from 9.30am to 1pm.

Southborough Library, on Saturday, November 4, from 10am to 12pm.

Paddock Wood Library, on Tuesday, November 7, from 10am to 12pm.

Royal Victoria Place, on Saturday, November 11, from 9am to 6pm.
