The judge presiding over the trial of David Squelch has instructed the jury to reach a majority verdict.
Judge Adele Williams made the instruction this morning at Canterbury Crown Court after the ongoing deliberations of the jury since yesterday.
David Squelch, 48, of Paddock Wood has been charged with the murder of James Wallington from Somerset Road, Tunbridge Wells on March 9.
Although he admits to stabbing Mr Wallington, he denies murder.
