TUNBRIDGE WELLS had a taste of Quadrophenia on Sunday after Brighton’s Mod scene descended on the Chapel Place gin bar.
Passers-by stopped to take pictures and gaze at the colourful mopeds on display, and talk to the riders who had come tom meet their friends and Mod enthusiast, bar owner Andrew Over.
Mr Over, who hopes to make the visit a regular occurrence during the summer Sundays, said it had been a ‘fantastic day’.
He added: “People heading towards The Pantiles loved to see the scooters and have their picture taken sitting on them.
“My neighbours don’t need to worry about it getting rowdy either. They were all on soft drinks and coffee.”
