Another 86 homes could be built at Knights Park in Tunbridge Wells.
Developer Dandara is looking to add to the Knights Wood development, which is next to the cinema site in High Brooms.
Last week Tunbridge Wells Borough Council received a planning application, which stated only two of the new builds would be classed as ‘affordable housing’.
These latest homes would be considered the fourth phase of Knights Wood, resulting in a total of 599 properties. This is higher than the originally proposed 550.
Dandara commented: “It should be noted that whilst only two affordable apartments are proposed within Phase 4, there has been an increase in affordable housing within Phase 3.”
Of the 86 new builds, 31 would be three-bedroom houses, 30 would have four beds, 14 would have two beds with the rest either two or five bedroom.
