Murder investigation after man found dead in Tunbridge Wells

Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Tunbridge Wells.

Kent Police was called at 10.42am on Tuesday 17 July 2018 to an address in Sherwood Road. Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and a man who sustained injuries died at the scene.

A knife has been recovered by officers and a local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.

Police are continuing to establish the circumstances of the incident and it is believed the victim and the suspect were known to each other. The victim’s next of kin have been made aware.
