An array of musicians took to the professional stage erected in the grounds, including Muse Tribute Act Musek, jazz funk artists Shine and Kharma and the Devil.
Local & Live co-organiser Peter Taylor, fresh from appearing at the Black Deer Festival up the road in Eridge Park, also brought his band The River Flows along for a set.
Arranged by the school’s Parent Teacher Association, the show raised £2,010 which will go towards a well-being centre and updating existing facilities.
The centre will provide a nurturing and a relaxing breakout space for staff to spend time with the children to support all their needs, away from the distractions of the busy school day.
Max, a pupil in Year Four, said: “I liked the fair because the music was excellent, and I got to have fun in the sun with my friends.”
Organiser Emma Brooker said: “We can’t thank the fantastic musicians enough for giving us their time and banding together to help raise such a great amount of money for our school.
“Another huge thank you to all our sponsors, for their generous donations. And last, but by no means least, all of our wonderful volunteers – without you we couldn’t run these events.”
