For three days from April 10-12, more than 50 members of 14 churches gathered in their trademark purple T-shirts at The Gatehouse in Market Square, which is owned by the New Life Church in Southborough.
They litter-picked across the town, edged paths, weeded pavements, gardened at Grosvenor & Hilbert Park, and cleared up The Common.
They also ran a Panna Cage football project as well as running a children’s club at Tunbridge Wells Christian Fellowship.
And they baked and hosted a tea party for residents at St Stephen’s Court retirement housing, and befriended the elderly in Royal Victoria Place shopping centre.
The Noise 2019 was organised by Tunbridge Wells Youth for Christ in partnership with local churches The Gatehouse, Tunbridge Wells Christian Fellowship and Church of Christ.
The event was generously supported by Cllrs David Scott of Culverden Ward and Joy Podbury of Rusthall Ward, the Town Forum, and local businesses, including Tesco.
