1887 The Pantiles is being constructed by Dandara, which emerged as the big winner at the 2019 UK Property Awards, scooping a total of ten accolades for developments across the country at a ceremony held at The Royal Lancaster London Hotel this month.
Consisting of one, two and three-bedroom apartments as well as contemporary two-bedroom mews homes, 1887 The Pantiles was crowned Best Architecture Multiple Residence in the South East.
Named after the date when Tunbridge Wells’ most famous location offically took its current name, 1887 The Pantiles has also been put forward as the Regional Nominee for the International rounds in December to compete for the ‘World’s Best’ title.
Dandara also won an award for Park House, a two-bedroom apartment in Knights Wood, the Tunbridge Wells housing development recently crowned ‘Best New Housing Development’ at the Royal Tunbridge Wells Civic Society’s 41st Annual Awards.
At the time, Dr David Wright, Chairman of the society’s Awards Panel, said they liked the variety of housing at Knights Wood, as well as the design of the new Skinners’ Kent Primary School nearby.
In particular, he said they liked the fact that Knights Wood provided a wide range of homes.
Louise Norman, Head of Sales and Marketing at Dandara, said: “I am absolutely thrilled with all of Dandara’s recent successes.
“We work tirelessly to create homes that offer real value for money, without compromising on design, durability or quality.
“For so many of our developments to be successful is extremely satisfying and clearly highlights the very high standards that set Dandara apart from the competition.”
