Grants of more than £37,000 are helping to improve to the Barden Lake area of Haysden Country Park.
Funding for the project has come from the Cory Environmental Trust and Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, with a further donation by the Tonbridge and District Angling and Fish Preservation Society.
There are also plans for a new jetty overlooking the lake. Work is due to be completed this year before the start of the school summer holidays. It follows £50,000 funding from the SITA Trust that will broaden the range of play equipment at the site.
