Tunbridge Wells hospital was given a clean bill of health during this year’s Patient-Led Assessment of the Care Environment.
Scoring above the national average in every category, the hospital ranked particularly highly for its cleanliness (99.8 per cent), appearance and maintenance (96.5 per cent) and Food (94 per cent).
Other categories included dementia friendliness (88.6 per cent) and disability friendliness (89.5 per cent).
Avey Bhatia, Chief Nurse, said: “We have put in a tremendous amount of work since last year’s inspection and are delighted to have made so many positive improvements for our patients.”
