Following on from its success this year, Pub in the Park is to return to Dunorlan Park for the third time on July 10-12. It will also be at seven other venues across the UK.
The festival, which boasts ‘world-class chefs, chart topping musicians and summer vibes’ is fast becoming one of the town’s most popular annual events.
Last year, nearly 20,000 people turned up to the second Pub in the Park and the crowds were not just wowed by the selection of food, wine and beers on offer, but also entertained by the likes of Rick Astley, KT Tunstall, Soul II Soul, Basement Jaxx and the Stereo MCs, Will Young, Gabrielle and The Bluetones.
While details of this year’s line-up are yet to emerge, TV chef, Tom Kerridge promised Pub in the Park 2020 would be just as good as last year.
He said: “Pub in the Park was an absolute blast. I’ve had a sneak peek at the line-up for 2020, and wow, it looks good – tasty food, more amazing chefs and awesome musicians all in your local park.”
He added that at each venue, there’ll be Michelin-starred and award-winning pubs and restaurants serving tasting dishes showing their signature style. Every event will celebrate the very best food the country has to offer, combined with great live music, chef demonstrations, top quality shopping and other festival fun.
Steve Lane, Pub in the Park Managing Director, said they were ‘thrilled at the prospect of bringing the brilliant food, drink and music festival’ back to Tunbridge wells.
Tickets for the summer event go on sale in January.
