Muffinpug Rescue, which helps abused and neglected pug dogs, is holding a sponsored walk in Dunorlan Park on Sunday [October 2] at midday to raise awareness and funds for the charity.
The organisation rescues pugs which have been used as bait or in puppy farms, as well as those who have been given up by their owners.
More than 300 pugs have been registered so far nationally, with 20 signed up for the Tunbridge Wells walk. It is one of 16 such events being held at different locations around the country.
It costs £10 to walk with one dog, £15 for two dogs and £20 for three or more. For more information, go to www.muffinpugrescue.com
