Tunbridge Wells company Southpaw have teamed up again with local charity Tree of Hope to help raise much needed funds.
Following the success of their innovative and amusing Great Southpaw Pigs in Blankets Sprint, the creative communications agency hosted a free carol concert.
It was held at Southpaw’s offices at The Warehouse on Hill Street on December 22 with the help of The Camden Road Community Choir. Mulled wine and mince pies were supplied by Fuggles and Bicycle Bakery, and £350 were made.
The charity wishes to register its thanks for all Southpaw’s efforts on their behalf.
The five pigs in blankets who raced over a 50-metre course at Oakland’s Farm in Rotherfield were each representing a different charity and the Tree of Hope entry, who was called Mary’s Boar Child, was the winner.
In addition to the £330 raised through the company’s social media exposure, Southpaw also donated an additional £250 to Tree of Hope.
Tree of Hope helps seriously ill and disabled children and their families in the UK who need medical interventions for life-changing procedures and therapies, which are not available to them freely.
