Painting a portrait of the town through images and words, photographer Mark Wilkinson and writer Anne Wagstaff have come together to produce the Remarkable Characters of Tunbridge Wells, a photographic exhibition taking place at Woods Restaurant on the Pantiles from March 16 and runs until early September.
Both collaborators have a curiosity about people, what makes them tick and the project has been a blending of their differing approaches to trying to seek out a cohesive portrait of Tunbridge Wells.
Subjects of the exhibition include Slaves singer Isaac Holman, Tunbridge Wells Pride organiser Jazz Alexander, Paralympic table tennis gold medallist Will Bayley and many more.
A full colour, 100 page book of the exhibition will also available for £18 at local shops and on line from March 16 with all profits from the sale of the book are going to help the work of Fegans.
